Zune Spec Spot animatic

Here is another animatic for a Zune spec spot. The idea is that the Zune allows people to share experiences through music so we journey into a guys head and then fly out a woman's head. I guess it is also the prelude to a little love story. How sweet.

have to say that I really like this spot and am looking forward to directing it. Since the story is pretty simple I think it can get the message across effectively.

So this is the first bonafide post to the new home of new kinetic cinema ie Samuel Jorgensen and Brian Delmonico, so far.

here are the animatics that have been cut for some spec idents I am going to direct.

I have found that these rough 3D animatics have been very helpful in helping to visualise the project and give both the producers and my DP Iskra a better look into what I am thinking.

Technically, I love using noise controllers in max to add random subtle movements to the CG characters to make them seem more alive. Putting noise controllers on the camera creates that immediate handheld look that I really do want in the scene. Rendering with a really low GI setting in VRay also helps.
